Chicken Crescent Rolls

My mom made these when I was growing up. I had to call her up for the directions. The recipe isn't set in stone because for a good home cooked meal, you don't measure the ingredients.1 pkg crescent rolls
2 cooked & shredded chicken breasts
1 small can mushrooms (optional)
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp onion salt
1 tsp pepper
1 (3oz) softened cream cheese
2 Tbsp melted butter
bread crumbs
chicken flavored gravy

Mix melted butter and cream cheese together. Then add chicken, garlic, onion salt, pepper, and mushrooms. Blend well. Spoon large amounts into a crescent rolls. Pinch closed. Roll in bread crumbs to cover. Bake 350 on greased cookie sheet until brown. (I cooked mine about 20 minutes.) Top with chicken gravy.

An alteration I made to this was not using normal bread crumbs, but I used panko crumbs. I guess that is what I get for having a Japanese household now. Another idea is to crush stuffing mix and roll it in that. That way the outside had a little bit of spice.
