4 lbs. hamburger
2 (16 oz) cans tomato sauce
2 cups salsa
4 TBSP brown sugar, packed
In a large skillet, brown hamburger. Add remaining ingredients, stirring well. Bring to boil then reduce heat. Simmer 20-30 minutes. Cool and freeze in portions. To use: Defrost then add to large sauce pan. Heat over medium heat until warm. Serve on toasted hamburger buns.
I know this makes a lot. When I made it, I just cut the recipe in half and it was more than enough for Jacob and I to eat. My mom would make this and freeze it with the hamburger buns. That way you could just take it out and warm it all up and you got a really great meal.
